Shakira, Amazon, and Laboratoria team up to reach one million Latin American women with AI skills
What happened
AWS Entrena Latinas brings free AI and cloud skills training to women across Latin America, taught entirely in Spanish.
The program is a collaboration between AWS, Amazon Music, Shakira’s Fundación Pies Descalzos, and Laboratoria, and aims to reach one million women with AI skills by 2028. Learners access on-demand courses covering AI fundamentals that lead to AWS Certifications.
The first cohort in Colombia includes mothers and students connected to Shakira’s Fundación Pies Descalzos.
