Gansu Province Taps Ex-Central Committee Office Official as Acting Governor

Kong Shaoxun, a former senior official in the Chinese Communist Party’s central administrative body, was appointed acting governor of Gansu province in the northwest on Wednesday, part of a broader provincial leadership reshuffle.
He replaced 62-year-old Ren Zhenhe, a member of the elite 20th Central Committee, who stepped down due to unspecified work changes.
