PokeBot launches RoboAPI for real-world testing of Poke-Aurora
Embodied AI company PokeBot has launched RoboAPI, an interface that lets developers connect compatible robots to Poke-Aurora, its world-action model, and test it in their own environments without training a model from scratch or collecting extra data and tuning. The model takes in observations and instructions and generates predicted actions for the robot to execute. In a large-scale evaluation covering nearly 1,000 unseen objects and nearly 10,000 unseen tasks, Poke-Aurora reached an overall task success rate of 74.2%, beating pi0.5 by 51.3% and GPT-6 Astra by 16.4%. PokeBot was founded by Huazhe Xu, an assistant professor at Tsinghua University's Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences. The technical paper and product demo are out on October 30, Beijing time, and during the technical preview RoboAPI is available to eligible users on a noncommercial basis.
Juxie Intelligence raises over RMB 100 million
Wuxi-based harmonic reducer maker Juxie Intelligence has closed a new round of more than RMB 100 million. Huatai Zijin led the round, with Johnson Electric, Ninebot's private equity arm and X Square Robot joining, and existing investors Nanjing Innovation Investment Group and Ecovacs adding to their stakes. Nanjing Innovation Investment has now backed the company in three straight rounds since its angel round, putting in tens of millions of yuan this time. The money will go to new product development, production equipment and capacity expansion. Founded in 2019, Juxie focuses on core humanoid robot components and makes harmonic reducers, miniature low-voltage drives, integrated encoders and force-sensor assemblies in volume, supplying dozens of leading humanoid robot makers in China and abroad. It has also set up a joint venture with Nanjing Tianchuang Intelligent to develop explosion-proof quadruped robots.
